• "Website" refers to all pages and content hosted on our domain
• "Project" refers to the interior design work agreed upon in our service agreement

2. Use of Services

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to engage our services. By using our services, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts.

Service Scope

Our services are provided for residential interior design purposes. The specific scope of work will be outlined in a separate service agreement for each project. Services include consultation, design development, and implementation support as agreed upon.

Account Information

You agree to provide accurate, complete information when requesting services or communicating with us. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials and for all activities under your account.

3. Prohibited Uses

You may not use our website or services to:

• Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws
• Infringe upon intellectual property rights of others
• Transmit harmful code, viruses, or malicious software
• Attempt unauthorized access to our systems or networks
• Engage in fraudulent activities or misrepresent your identity
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users or our staff

4. Service Terms

Consultation Process

Initial consultations involve discussion of your design preferences, lifestyle needs, and budget considerations. Information shared during consultations remains confidential and is used solely for providing our services.

Design Development

We develop design concepts based on consultation findings and your input. Design revisions are included as specified in your service agreement. Additional revisions beyond the agreed scope may incur extra fees.

Implementation Support

We provide guidance on furniture procurement, coordinate with vendors, and offer installation oversight as outlined in your service agreement. You remain responsible for approving all purchases and final decisions.

Timeline

Project timelines are estimates based on typical procurement and installation schedules. Actual completion may vary due to factors beyond our control, including furniture availability, shipping delays, or contractor schedules.

5. Payment Terms

• Service fees are as stated in your service agreement
• Initial consultation fees are due at time of booking
• Project services may require deposit payment before work begins
• Final payment is due upon project completion unless otherwise agreed
• Late payments may incur additional fees as specified in your agreement
• All fees are in Singapore Dollars (SGD) unless otherwise stated

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation by Client

You may cancel services with written notice. Refund eligibility depends on work completed:

• Consultations: Cancellations made 48 hours before scheduled time receive full refund
• Room Makeover: Refunds prorated based on design work completed
• Executive Home Design: Cancellation terms as specified in service agreement

Cancellation by artisanenia

We reserve the right to cancel services if project requirements fall outside our expertise, if you breach these terms, or for other reasonable business reasons. In such cases, we will provide full refund of fees paid for work not yet completed.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

Our Content

All website content, including text, images, graphics, logos, and design concepts, remain the property of artisanenia. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.

Design Work

Design concepts, plans, and recommendations created for your project are licensed for your personal use in implementing the agreed design. We retain copyright to the creative work and may use project images for portfolio purposes with your consent.

Third-Party Content

We respect intellectual property rights of furniture designers, manufacturers, and other third parties. Products recommended are subject to their respective terms and licenses.

8. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

Service Disclaimer

Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We make no guarantees regarding specific aesthetic outcomes, as design preferences are subjective. We strive for client satisfaction but cannot warrant that every design element will meet your expectations.

Third-Party Products

We are not responsible for quality, availability, or performance of furniture, materials, or services provided by third-party vendors. Product warranties are provided by manufacturers, not by artisanenia.

Limitation of Liability

Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount of fees you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including loss of profit or property damage.

9. Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution

In the event of any dispute, we encourage you to contact us first to seek informal resolution. Most concerns can be addressed through open communication.

Mediation

If informal resolution fails, disputes will be submitted to mediation before pursuing other legal remedies. Both parties agree to participate in good faith mediation efforts.

Arbitration

If mediation is unsuccessful, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Singapore in accordance with Singapore International Arbitration Centre rules.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of Singapore courts for any legal proceedings.

10. Confidentiality

We maintain confidentiality regarding:

• Personal information shared during consultations
• Property details and security information
• Budget and financial discussions
• Design preferences and lifestyle information

We will not share confidential information except as required by law or with your explicit consent for portfolio purposes.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate the service relationship with written notice. Upon termination:

• You remain responsible for payment of fees for work completed
• We will provide all work product developed up to termination date
• Confidentiality obligations continue after termination
• You may not use incomplete designs without our consent

We may terminate immediately if you breach these terms or engage in prohibited conduct.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated "Last Modified" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of new terms.

For significant changes affecting existing service agreements, we will provide notice and opportunity to review revised terms before they apply to your project.

13. General Provisions

• Entire Agreement: These terms, together with your service agreement, constitute the complete agreement between parties
• Severability: If any provision is found invalid, remaining provisions remain in effect
• No Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute waiver of that provision
• Assignment: You may not assign your rights or obligations without our consent
• Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays due to circumstances beyond reasonable control
